RENEE PRUDHOMME BY J. RENEE PRUDHOMME

J. Renee Prudhomme is a native of Southern California with over fifteen years of experience in the fashion industry. She is the creative force behind women’s contemporary brand RENEE PRUDHOMME by J. Renee Prudhomme. The inspiration for her collection comes after years of creative ventures during adolescence and a love for sewing in high school. After attending California State University, Long Beach, RENEE PRUDHOMME was established in 2005 to incite fearless fashion for women. Since the debut of the line, Prudhomme has participated in an eclectic mix of fashion events including LA Fashion Week and DC International Fashion Week. Her colorful garments were featured on NBC, and in publications including California Apparel News, Stilo Magazine, The 360 Magazine, CARIB Press,944 Magazine, and Us Weekly Magazine.

As a college student she fulfilled the responsibility of Designer Liaison for the landmark event at California State University Long Beach, the 20th Annual Fashion Merchandising and Design Department Fashion Show: Campus Couture, in which Prudhomme participated as both a coordinator and designer. She was selected by Campus Couture's featured judge Jason Peskin to be the Fashion Coordinator [Fashion Director interim, 2010] for Project Ethos, Fashion-Music-Art production and official LA Fashion Week event. Dedicated to the mission of the company, Prudhomme played a pivotal role in presenting brands including past participants of Project Runway (Michael Costello, Jesus Estrada, Gordana Gehlhausen, and Anna Lynett), Li Cari by Jazmin Whitley (MTV’s House of Jazmin), and Goci by Golnessa Cindy (The Fashion Show). Project Ethos runway productions received coverage by numerous publications including LA Times, Women’s Wear Daily (WWD), Cal Apparel News, and Huffington Post.

Prudhomme creatively and professionally serves the growing world of fashion, and continues to receive admiration for her diverse commitment to the fashion industry.
